Looking to join a partnership
IFR pilot (KHWD, KOAK, KCCR) seeking a Cirrus partnership — or partners to form one
Hi — I'm a current, active pilot based at Hayward (KHWD), just finishing up my instrument rating. I'm looking to get into a partnership as my first step toward aircraft ownership: I'd rather learn the ropes of co-ownership — sharing a plane, keeping it well-maintained, and being a genuinely good partner — before going it alone. I'm leaning toward a Cirrus (SR20/SR22), but I'm genuinely open to other capable, well-kept singles if the group and the airplane are the right fit. I'd fly mostly for proficiency, weekend trips, and the occasional week vacation, roughly 8 hours a month, and I'm committed to staying IFR-current and proficient. Ideally I'd join an existing partnership with an open share around Hayward (KHWD), Oakland (KOAK), or Concord (KCCR) — but I'm just as happy to team up with one, two, or three like-minded pilots to form a new group and buy an aircraft together. What you can expect from me as a partner: I'm reliable, communicate well, treat scheduling and shared costs fairly, and take care of the airplane like it's my own. I'm in this for the long haul and want a well-run, low-drama partnership. If you've got an open share — or you're a pilot who'd want to form a group — I'd love to talk.
