Cost to own

Rule-of-thumb estimates — insurance ≈ 1% of price, hangar $7,500/yr, annual inspection $2,500/yr, fuel + oil at your selected hrs/yr. Your actual costs will vary.

As a sole owner

$1,909/mo$22,910/yr

$229 per flight hour at 100 hrs/yr — flying fewer hours raises this (fixed costs spread over fewer hours)

$91,000 to buy (the asking price)

At 100 hrs/yr, renting at $150/hr would be $7,910 cheaper annually — fly more to see ownership savings.
