Airframe time

Average over the aircraft's life — 5,898 hrs total time across ~56 years. A rule of thumb, not a guarantee.

105 hrs/yrTypical

Typical utilization

This airframe has averaged about 105 hrs/year over ~56 years — in the normal range for a personal aircraft: regularly exercised without being worked hard.

Cost to own

Rule-of-thumb estimates — insurance ≈ 1% of price, hangar $7,500/yr, annual inspection $2,500/yr, fuel + oil at your selected hrs/yr. Your actual costs will vary.

As a sole owner

$1,892/mo$22,700/yr

$227 per flight hour at 100 hrs/yr — flying fewer hours raises this (fixed costs spread over fewer hours)

$70,000 to buy (the asking price)

At 100 hrs/yr, renting at $150/hr would be $7,700 cheaper annually — fly more to see ownership savings.
